Summer Berry Sangria

There is something truly mesmerizing about a beautiful drink in a glass pitcher– I am a sucker for pretty food and drink. If you can commiserate, this summery delicious adult beverage is for you. This not overly sweet beverage packs a fruity punch with just enough sweetness to bring out the luscious flavors of the berries. The touch of soda and a crisp white wine is the perfect addition to a summer get together, baby shower or warm Friday night.

Since several summer berries are part of the dirty dozen, try to use organic if you are able. Dry soda is a great addition due to its lower sugar content, yet robust flavor.

I am not a big fan of overly sweet drinks, but if you would like this a little sweeter, try lessening the amount of Dry Soda and increasing the lemon lime soda. I like to make the drink a few hours in advance so the fruit has time to absorb some of the liquid and float to the top. It looks pretty, plus wine soaked berries are delicious. 👌 One more tip: freeze some berries and throw them in when you serve as natural little ice cubes.
